Beam, the owner of Cruzan Rum brand, has expanded its portfolio of flavored rum with the launch of Cruzan Key Lime Rum and Cruzan Passion Fruit Rum.
Available throughout the nation, both the flavored rums are made with Cruzan Rum, natural flavors and cane sugar.
Cruzan Key Lime Rum possesses sweet and tangy taste of key lime and pairs well with cola, while Cruzan Passion Fruit Rum carries flavor of passion fruit with peachy undertones and tropical hints of caramelized sugar and pairs well with pineapple juice.
Cruzan master mixologist Jesse Card used the two flavored rums to prepare cocktails such as Cruzan Key Lime Sparkler and Cruzan Passionway Daiquiri.
Beam Rum and Cordials senior director Gary Ross said the company is further planning to add new flavors to Cruzan.
"Cruzan® Key Lime Rum and Cruzan® Passion Fruit Rum fill a void in the world of flavored rums by providing new, innovative, mixing options for cocktails, just in time for the warmer weather," Ross added.
Both the new flavored rums are currently available with a suggested retail price of $14.99 per 750ml bottle.
Cruzan Key Lime Rum and Cruzan Passion Fruit Rum join Cruzan's portfolio containing Cruzan Aged Light Rum, Cruzan Aged Dark Rum, Cruzan Black Strap Rum, Cruzan Single Barrel, Cruzan 151 Proof Rum, Cruzan 9 Spiced Rum and 11 other flavored rums.
