Dynamic Conveyor, Muskegon, Mich., improved its DynaClean food conveyor systems by replacing the tubular leg support design with a 1-dimensional one to allowfor easy cleaning and elimination of the possibility for hidden bacteria buildup.
The new 1-dimensional design is manufactured to meet FDA, USDA, NSF and BISCC standards using 304-stainless steel. Plus, the 1-dimensional design minimizes the number of welds needed and simplifies the cleaning and sanitizing process.
The food processing conveyor design also offers other easy-to-clean features. For instance, stand-offs and flange head bolts are used for easy cleaning access. The drum-style motor is hermetically-sealed and totally enclosed with no externally-mounted bearings to clean, sanitize or maintain. Therefore, it can be cleaned in much less time than a typical motor. The patent-pending removable retaining walls allow for easy access to the internal components of the conveyor with or without removal of the conveyor belt.
The sanitary conveyors are constructed of plastic and stainless-steel materials that are corrosion-resistant, non-toxic, non-absorbent and temperature-resistant. The plastic side walls do not rot or retain harmful bacteria, odors or cleaning agents. The conveyors can easily be cleaned and sanitized with hot water, steam and/or detergents ranging from sodium hydroxide to hydrochloric acid.
