Inc. in Farrell, Pa. will be open a few more weeks, "maybe three, maybe two" while it distributes its remaining inventory, and then the company will close, General Manager Dave Mogg confirmed to Meatingplace.The meat packer and distributor of meats and other food products has been in business since 1973, according to credit records. Mogg said Sharon had stopped processing its meat products about six months ago.
Records indicate that the company had about $7.5 million in revenues in its most recent fiscal year, and between 10 and 25 employees. Mogg declined to confirm the information.
