Danish dairy company Arla Foods has selected Widen Enterprises' web-based DAM solution to manage its digital brand assets worldwide.

According to Widen, Arla Foods needed a cost-efficient brand management solution suitable for decentralized advertising operations.

ADtomic, Arla's digital advertising agency, digital project manager Daniel Peulicke Hansen said that Arla is a dairy collective for international brands, so it needed a solution that could work around the world.

Widen digital asset management met Arla's core needs, Hansen added.

The co-operative needed a web-based digital asset management (DAM) solution that could enable multiple contributors, give ad agencies read and download permission, support scalable hosting, and carry out bulk uploads. In addition, the software had to support multiple video, audio, and image formats, PowerPoint presentations, and desktop publishing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.

Widen's centralized digital asset library allows to streamline creative and marketing work flows for Arla Foods.

Arla Foods is an international dairy company owned by 12,000 farmers from Denmark, Sweden, The UK, Germany, Belgium and Luxemburg.

Widen Enterprises, based in Madison, Wisconsin, is involved in premedia services and color management specifically for assisting customers with building brand equity and supporting consistent brand representation across print and Web communications.
