Linville Falls Winery is set to open its doors at 9557 Linville Falls Highway, Newland, North Carolina on 1 June 2013.
The winery has produced seven wines - dry white chardonnay, dry red merlot, semi-sweet white and rose and three desert wines such as blueberry, cherry bounce and trillum.
Linville Falls has partnered with ASU's enology and viticulture department former director Rick Donely to produce these seven wines.
The 40-acre farm Linville Falls Highway in Newland also serves as a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm for growing grapes.
Linville Falls Winery owner Jack Wiseman relative Linda Wiseman was quoted by hcpress.com as saying that Jack has initiated harvesting grapes seven years ago.
"He came to find that this was a great area of growing the varieties of grapes that we grow," Linda added.
