Beverage maker Gusto Organic has re-branded and re-formulated their Gusto energy drink line to expand their reach to on-trade and for stocking in store.

Re-branding includes new appearance and clear brand messaging on 250ml green screw-top glass bottles, whereas re-formulation improved the flavor notes to complement alcohol when used as mixers.

Gusto lightly carbonated energy drink line is available in three variants including Sicilian Lemonade, Sicilian Orangeade and Original Kola.

These drinks contain 3000mg Amazonian guarana to provide a natural energy boost and a blend of botanicals and natural ingredients to help improve concentration, strengthen the immune system and ease stress.

They are sweetened with fair trade apple juice and are free from artificial flavours, colours and preservatives.

Gusto Organic director William Fugard said: "We only sweeten with Fairtrade apple juice, never sugar and always use the best organic ingredients, from essential oils and herbs to oranges and lemons from the orchards of Siciliy."

Priced at an RRP of £1.99, the energy drink line is currently available at London bars including The Groucho and The Century Club and independent health stores including Wholefoods, Ocado and Planet Organic.
