Pindar Vineyards, a New York-based family-run wine estate, is planning to sell its business for $65m.

A family member and the company's real estate agent told Newsday that if they approach a buyer ready to pay $65m, the deal would be done.

The 500-acre Pindar property, along with its Duck Walk estate, was listed for sale by its Peconic address on the real estate site Loopnet.com.

Sun Properties real estate agent Amir Allen Alishahi told the website that the parcels, located throughout the North Fork, could sell as a package or in parts, but no price is listed.

Established in 1980, the vineyard produces more than 17 varieties of grapes and around 23 varieties of wine. The vineyard has the production capacity of 70,000 cases of wine annually.
