Kraft Foods China has undergone a name change.

It is now Mondelēz China, along with the Chinese name Yi Zi, according to Irene Rosenfeld, chairman and CEO of Mondelēz International.

Mondelēz China launched Golden OREOin May 2013. This was developed in the company's Asia-Pacific research and development center in Suzhou.

The product is made at the largest OREO factory in the world in Beijing.

Shawn Warren, president of Mondelēz China, said: "The name 'Mondelēz' and its local translation 'Yi Zi' are specially tailored for our Chinese market and for our thousands of employees; it is also true to our ambition. Our team will continue to bring delicious moments of joy to consumers by making high-quality products, by building strong brands like OREO, by introducing delicious new products and by expanding our sales coverage and distribution across China."
