The award-winning beers from No-Li Brewhouse are on their way to Portland, Ore., for a July 10 launch.
“The bootlegging of our beer across the Columbia River into Rose City stops today!” said No-Li co-founder John Bryant. “We have reached a monthly agreement to ship 22 ounce bottles and a limited number of kegs to Oregon Craft Beer enthusiasts. The trucks crossed the Columbia today—get yours while you can.”
The company will launch through its local wholesaler, General Distributing of Portland.
No-Li is fresh from its recent federal approval of 'Spokane-Style' beer classification. According to brewmaster and co-founder Mark Irvin, "'Spokane-Style' beer must be brewed and packaged in Spokane and use all ingredients exclusively from the region, as the name suggests. And, of course all No-Li Brewhouse beers are 100 percent Spokane-Style."
In its first year No-Li won several international awards; included is a gold medal from the 2012 Great American Beer Festival for Crystal Bitter ESB, gold & silver medals at the 2012 Japan International Beer Competition, two silver medals at the 2012 Brussels International Beer Competition, and a bronze medal at the 2012 European Beer Star Competition.
