US-based food brand Amy’s Kitchen is expanding soup distribution with the launch of six varieties at Asda stores across the UK from 22 July.

The company is launching a new range of six varieties in the ambient free from category.

The range includes Amy's Kitchen Classic soups - Chunky Tomato soup, Lentil Vegetable soup and Cream of Mushroom soup. Hearty soups - Hearty French Country Vegetable soup, Hearty Rustic Italian Vegetable soup and Hearty Spanish Rice & Bean soup.

Amy's Kitchen European commercial director Damien Threadgold said: "By extending the current range of Amy's Kitchen soups into Asda stores nationwide, we are able to reach a much more extensive audience and give our current fans a convenient place to get a great selection of their favourite soups."

The Classic soups are priced at an RRP of £1.69 and the Hearty soups have an RRP of £1.99.

Amy's Kitchen, which is family owned, offers a wide range of frozen vegetarian ready meals and ambient soups, many of which are free from gluten, wheat and dairy. The brand is estimated to be worth £1.5m in the UK.
