Three of the current gluten free ready meals and snacks; Gluten Free Cheddar Bean & Rice Burrito, Gluten Free Rice Mac & Cheese and Gluten Free Vegetable Lasagne, are now available nationwide in the Nisa portfolio.

Damien Threadgold, international sales director for Amy’s Kitchen, said: “We are delighted that demand for Amy’s Kitchen Gluten Free ready meals has been so strong in the convenience channel.

“The increased distribution allows us to reach a much more extensive audience and give our current fans a convenient place to get a great selection of gluten free foods.

“These listings reflect the huge increase in demand for free from options, with 42% of households now buying gluten free.

“The arrival of gluten free into the convenient channel is a positive step forward, allowing consumers a wider choice of foods to cater for all diets.”

Amy’s Kitchen offer 29 gluten free options, many of which are free from soy, lactose and dairy and all are suitable for vegetarians and egg free.

All Amy’s Kitchen ready meals are handmade and contain natural ingredients without the use of artificial additives and preservatives.
