Australian winery Shaw + Smith will roll out its inaugural wine from Tolpuddle Vineyard in Tasmania in October 2013.
Located in the Coral River Valley of Tasmania, the Tolpuddle Vineyard was recently acquired by Shaw + Smith.
Shaw + Smith co-owner Michael Hill Smith was quoted by The Shout as saying that the winemaking team was upbeat about the early results.
"The wines from 2012, which have been safely in bottle since February - a Pinot and a Chardonnay - are really exciting us," he added.
"To try and control everyone's enthusiasm in trying to release them and get them out there is a challenge in itself."
The inaugural wine will not be released under the Shaw + Smith label, instead will retain the vineyard's Tolpuddle name, claimed the winery.
