LesserEvil Healthy Brands, a US-based healthy snack food company, has introduced its range of Chia Crisps at all Whole Foods locations in Northern California.

The Chia Crisps are available in four flavors, including Southern Barbeque, Crunchy Dill Pickle, Jalapeño White Cheddar, and Feta and Black Olive.

LesserEvil Chia Crisps are made with black bean and milled with Salba Chia and offer a higher protein and fiber content than other chips, the company claimed.

Chia seed is a rich source of Omega 3, fiber, minerals, vitamin C and antioxidants.

Commenting on the launch, LesserEvil CEO Charles Coristine said, "Together our team took the basic chip to a different level, enhancing the natural health benefits of black beans with omega-rich chia seed. We are pleased to share this creation with Whole Foods Market customers."

LesserEvil's other snack products include Krinkle Sticks, Kettlecorn and Chia Pop.
