Winesellers, an Illinois-based importer and marketer of fines wines to US markets, has introduced a new wine, a 2011 vintage, under its Tortoise Creek range - Le Charmel.
Sourced from Rhone Valley, the 2011 vintage is a blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache.
The 2011 vintage is the first release under the Tortoise Creek range, Le Charmel, and is priced at $13 per bottle, reported Shanken News Daily.
In another development, the company has unveiled its Tiamo and Hope Estate brands in a new packaging.
The new packaging features a taller bottle and simplified label for Tiamo brand's Pinot Grigio, Barbera, Chianti and Prosecco drinks. The Chianti and Prosecco are now sold at a different price of $12 and $15, respectively.
The new packaging for Hope Estate brand's Hunter Valley range and Ripper Shiraz will feature a single vineyard site name on the bottle label.
Hunter Valley range includes Chardonnay and Shiraz, which will now be sold under new prices of $15, whereas Ripper Shiraz for $20.
