Carrefour has revamped its Carrefour Kids private label range in Belgium, with new products, recipes and more convenient sizes. According to Carrefour, 'quality ingredients are at the heart of the philosophy of the range', with all products retailing a a 'balanced price'.
According to the retailer, the range has been tested by both child nutritionists and by pediatricians. 'In addition, all products are tested and approved by a panel of children'.
The new Carrefour Kids range has been designed around four different cartoon characters, each representing a particular food category, such as dairy products.
The range, which is to be launched in August, will consist of 20 products, including cereals, fresh cheese, fruit compote, fish fingers mini-cakes, small bottles of water and milk cartons. The full range of items is on sale in Carrefour hypermarkets and Carrefour markets, with a limited range of the products to also be available in Carrefour Express.
