SensoryEffects, a US-based manufacturer of food and beverage ingredients and flavors, is set to purchase the dairy and non-dairy creamer business of Quality Ingredients and associated assets in an agreement.
As part of this deal, the manufacturing facility of Quality Ingredients in Marshfield, Wisconsin will be integrated into the SensoryEffects Powder Systems business unit in Defiance, Ohio.
Quality Ingredients will now focus solely on its contract manufacturing and specialty products division.
This transaction is expected to be closed on 30 August 2013.
After completion of this deal, SensoryEffects' revenue is expected to increase to $250m.
SensoryEffects marketing communications manager Tiffany Pailer was quoted by bizjournals.com as saying that this deal will complement their powder systems business by expanding SensoryEffects' products and capabilities in whipped toppings, powdered vegetable shortenings and other emulsified systems.
