Verisae, a leading global provider of cloud-based SaaS software solutions, has acquired WorkOasis - a provider of software and services to food service, retailers and other companies for the automation of work order management process.
The acquisition has created an expanded suite of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for customers of both companies.
Verisae CEO Jerry Dolinsky said that the WorkOasis team and customers are a strategic addition to Verisae.
"The acquisition supports our commitment to consolidate the best products, people, and customers in the markets we serve and will accelerate our growth. In addition, the acquisition allows us to leverage and deepen our long-standing relationships with maintenance and repair service providers," Dolinsky added.
WorkOasis, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is a cloud-based software technology company. Its software solutions save facility owners and tenants money by lowering service transaction costs, eliminating paperwork errors, and providing an auditable process for certifying contractors.
WorkOasis president and CEO Bob Dickhaus said that Verisae represents a partner with the resources and expertise to help guide the employees and customers in the company's next phase of growth.
"With Verisae, we can accelerate and expand ways to make their jobs simpler while reducing operating costs," Dickhaus added.
The combination of WorkOasis and Verisae is expected to be completed in fourth quarter 2013. The combined Verisae network of over 120,000 service providers and 43,000 sites creates one of the largest global maintenance networks of its kind, with a presence in over 20 countries worldwide.
Verisae offers software solutions to help large retailers focused in grocery, food service, and specialty retail manage their maintenance, energy, and sustainability programs. It integrates business information and processes in one big-data platform, with analytics to drive insight and fact-based decisions.
