Franklin Foods opens cream cheese manufacturing facility in US

US-based cream cheese manufacturer Franklin Foods has opened a new manufacturing facility - Franklin Foods West - in Casa Grande, Arizona.

The facility expands the company's growing food service, industrial, retail private label and international business.

The plant produces a full line of Cultured Cream Cheese, Direct Set Cream Cheese and cream cheese-based products including the newly announced Greek Cream Cheese. It packages Franklin's cream cheese products in 8oz. Bars, 6oz to 24oz cups, 5lb tubs 3Lb loaves and 30Lb bulk sizes.

These products are sold under the Green Mountain Farms, Lombardi's, Casa Grande Farms and Hahn's brands.

The production capacity allows the company to meet increasing demand for its Greek Cream Cheese which is available at 10,000 stores across the country.

Franklin Foods West vice president Rocco Cardinale said that the new facility and expanded production capacity will help accelerate Franklin Foods' growth and innovation.

Established in Enosburg Falls, Vermont in 1899, Franklin Foods is a Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Level 3 Certified manufacturer. THe company distributes its products to industrial, institutional, foodservice, private label, supermarket and club store accounts across the US and numerous international markets.
