Dutch retailer Heijn is to hold a series of supplier 'Open Days' at farms across the Netherlands on 21and 28 September from 10:00 to 17:00.
The Open Days, which are to be held at more than 140 farms, will give families a chance to see behind the scenes of Albert Heijn's fresh food production.
85,000 people attended the event in 2012, which was Albert Heijn's 125th anniversary year.
"With the Open Days we want to show where the Dutch fresh produce from Albert Heijn actually comes from. We hope that it is mainly a fun day for young and old, "said Alfred Levi, Commercial Director at Albert Heijn.
