Australian Cascade Brewery has re-introduced its range of beers with a revamped look that emphasizes its Tasmanian history.
The revamped line includes a re-crafted Cascade Premium Lager, new Cascade Bright Lager and a re-formulated Cascade Blonde.
The new look features a crown-seal embossed with 1824, the year of company's origin and Hobart Tasmania.
The packaging also includes a new brown glass bottle featuring a new style and shape. However, the size of the bottle remains 375ml.
Other products in the range, including Cascade Stout and Cascade Pale Ale brews, remain unchanged. The company has discarded its Cascade Pure product.
Cascade Brewery craft beer general manager Craig MacLean was quoted by The Shout as saying that they have under-invested in Cascade in the past, but this has now changed.
"Today, beer drinkers are spoilt for choice so we've had to make some changes to the brand to ensure it can stack up against some of the country's best beers," MacLean added.
Launched in new four-pack cluster format and 16-pack cartons, the entire range is available from Cellarbrations, IGA Liquor and Bottle-O stores nationally from 4 September 2013.
In other stores, including Coles and Woolworths, the range will be available from 17 September 2013 and from October 2013 for the on-premise.
