Custom BrewCrafters of US is set to rebrand its name as CB Craft Brewers effective 19 September 2013.
The move is aimed to reflect its locally brewed custom craft beers and its expansion of bottle and draft craft beer under the CB brand in New York.
As part of this rebranding initiative, all the brands under the company's CB brand will feature a new name and logo including a new 12oz bottle packaging.
Custom BrewCrafters will also introduce a new website at www.cbcraftbrewers.com and plans to offer new products in 2014.
Besides this move, the beer maker is planning to install two 60 barrel fermenters along with an enhanced bottling line and spent grain handling system at its brewery in the next two weeks.
Custom BrewCrafters expects that this expansion will increase its production capacity by 115% over a 16 month period.
In 2012, the company has installed three 60 barrel fermenters, which expanded its production capacity by 54%.
Custom BrewCrafters founder Mike Alcorn was quoted by beerpulse.com as saying that by keeping its distribution local in WNY it can keep true to roots and deliver on the promise of this new tagline.
"A beer that is in a warehouse and shipped on freight truck for a week or more will never taste as fresh as one that was shipped direct from the brewery within 48 hours of bottling," Alcorn added.
