Convenience retailer Spar is launching a revamped chilled ready meal range for winter, featuring both new products and a redesign of 21 existing lines.
The new range will be available from 10 October and will be supported by in-store POS.
New recipes include meals such as Hunter's Chicken and Chicken Wrapped in Bacon, both price-marked at £3.50.
The retailer will also revamp the packaging for the range, with a warm-toned block colour scheme. According to Spar, the new design and colour scheme will fit alongside its own-brand Italian range.
"We know that customers who buy their evening meals spend twice as much in Spar stores, so these new launches offer retailers a great opportunity to boost sales this winter," Spar UK brand director Susan Darbyshire said.
"Ongoing two-for-one promotions and price-marking is used across much of the range and some classic dishes will feature in Spar's national media campaign in November, helping increase consumer awareness and demand," she added.
