US gluten-free food producer Boulder Brands today launched its Udi's bakery range into 800 Tesco stores.
19 Udi's products will be available from this week onwards, with Boulder Brands planning to introduce 50 further products over the next 12 months.
Among the most recent of those released are breakfast bars, fresh sliced brown and white sandwich bread, ancient grain crisps as well as what Boulder claims is the UK's first gluten-free bagel.
"This is a dynamic market showing strong growth driven through improved quality, product innovation and investment into the category by both suppliers and retailers," said Boulder Brands UK Managing director Simon Hazlett in a statement.
In May, the $500 million business bought Cheshire based gluten-free production company Davies Bakery.
The deal was a major boost for driving growth and investment into the gluten free category, which is estimated to be worth in excess of £310m.
