German alcohol producer Underberg Rheinberger Kräuter has launched a new special edition decorative tin can. The annual editions have for a long time been coveted collectibles and enjoy cult status among fans of the liquor brand.
The tin can will be available to buy in Austria, South Africa, Italy and Denmark and Brazil.
With its Brazillian release Underberg takes account of the increasing media and customer awareness of the South American country due to the upcoming soccer World Cup.
The tin can’s relief-embossing does not show the usual samba and soccer images but focuses on unique Brazilian sites. One side of the can depicts the architecture of capital Brasilia while another addresses the country’s diverse flora and fauna.
The culturally rich cities Manaus and Recife are also featured on the relief. The former is among others famous for its opera building, the latter is one the oldest towns in Brazil’s north.
The Brazil-themed tin cans are only available as a limited edition and will be displayed at point of sales.
