Martell, a Cognac House, has launched a new cognac variety ‘Martell Caractere’ that is available exclusively in California.
The new product, which pays tributes to Martell founder Jean Martell, has distinct tasting notes of citrus, tangerine peel, cinnamon and clove.
Martell Caractere can be served on the rocks, or with the company's signature recipes, and is Martell available for a suggested retail price of $34.99.
Martell is one of the oldest and major Cognac Houses that was founded in 1715 in the French Charente region by Jean Martell. The brand is owned by Spirits giant Pernod Ricard.
Other brands owned by Pernod Ricard include Absolut Vodka, Chivas Regal Scotch Whisky, The Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Malibu, Kahlua Liqueur, Beefeater Gin and Plymouth Gin.
