US-based Dunn Bros Coffee Franchising has introduced a new mobile payments and loyalty app across its franchise locations in the country.
Powered by the largest mobile payment and loyalty network LevelUp, the Dunn Bros app will provide franchisees with access to data that enables them to better understand customers' purchase patterns, the company claims.
The tools within the Dunn Bros app also allows the franchisees to better segment customers and provide more relevant offers, by paying lower payment processing fees on app transactions.
Dunn Bros Coffee CMO Laura Radewald said that the company is seeing a significant lift in average ticket for app customers after just four weeks, and are excited to be rolling its app out system-wide over the coming months.
Dunn Bros Coffee Bettendorf, Iowa store owner Paula Martinez said,"Customers pay with the app all the time, which is helping us increase sales, speed-up the checkout process, and save money on payment processing fees.
"Our customers find it easy to use, and they love the rewards, so it's a hit with both customers and staff," he added.
Following a successful pilot at four regionally dispersed Dunn Bros shops, the app will be launched at all Dunn Bros Coffee shops and will become live across the system by early December 2013.
