Baskin-Robbins, an ice cream specialty shop chain, has signed three franchisee agreements to open four new shops in the greater Los Angeles area.
As per the agreement, franchisee Binoy Kothari will open two ice creams stores in Orange County; franchisee Andy Chesler will open one ice cream store in San Fernando Valley; and franchisee Farid Ahmed will open one ice cream store in Chino Hills.
Being the existing franchisees of Baskin-Robbins, Kothari purchased three existing shops in High Desert in 2011, and Chesler became Baskin-Robbins franchisee in 1985 with the purchase of the stores in Granada Hills and Northridge.
To maintain the continuous growth of the brand, Baskin-Robbins is looking for local entrepreneurs to meet its financial requirements and to serve the localities with Baskin-Robbins ice creams.
Founded in 1945, Baskin-Robbins, a part of Dunkin' Brands Group, is said to be the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty shops.
With more than 7,100 retail shops in nearly 50 countries, the brand offers innovative, premium hard scoop ice cream and soft serve, custom ice cream cakes and full beverage ranges.
