Tequila el Jimador, a 100% agave tequila brand that is imported into the US by Brown-Forman, has revamped its packaging design with a new bottle as it aims to expand the brand's footprint.
The updated bottle has an embossed illustration of the iconic Jimador, with a modified body featuring stylized, pronounced corners at the shoulders and base.
Among other design changes include a increase in the size of the bottle, smaller streamlined, colored metallic label design and uniform caps, all designed to create a better presence on the shelf.
The brand's all bottle sizes will be developed with the new packaging and will maintain the same price point.
Tequila el Jimador brand manager Jesus Ostos said that with over 1300 tequila brands in the marketplace, consumers are faced with many options making packaging an important and differentiating aspect.
"By revamping our bottle design, we are aligning our packaging with our great tasting liquid and making it more relevant to consumers," Ostos added.
In order to support the new packaging launch, the brand will invest in OOH, digital, print and social platforms including a new website.
