New Zealand wine label, Monkey Bay, has revealed a new label design featuring a distinctive Koru pattern.
The pattern is inspired by the New Zealand fern frond unfurling as it grows. Monkey Bay believes the new label will appeal to a wide consumer base, with consumer research showing strong ratings in both purchase intent and frequency.
Darren Gare, Monkey Bay winemaker believes the new labels reflect the styles of wines the team aims to create.
“Every year we strive to produce great fruit-forward wines that display vibrant varietal characters, and the bright new colour cues highlight this. Our wines are full of easy drinking style and charm, which reflects New Zealand’s laid back lifestyle,” he said.
Monkey Bay’s range includes a Pinot Gris, Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir.
