Total Beverage SolutiCraftBev on (TBS), a US-based beverage alcohol importer and supplier, has purchased trademark and product recipes of Celis beer from CraftBev International.

Celis beers originated in 1992, when Pierre Celis founded Celis Brewery in Austin, Texas. Pierre has created beers using his original Belgian recipes. The beers left the market in 2012.

The transaction, which took place on 25 November 2013, will expand TBS' portfolio of beer, wine and spirits.

This acquisition represents the second craft beer brand revival for the company. It re-launched Humboldt Brewing Company in mid-2013.

Total Beverage Solution CEO Dave Pardus said: "We are currently considering a number of options for brewing, and we plan to reintroduce the brand to market by mid-2014."

Founded in 2002, TBS supplies wine, beer and premium spirits to the US market.
