Jackson Family Wines, an American company known for its Kendall-Jackson brand, has purchased the Yverdon Vineyard and Winery in Napa Valley from Terra Valentine for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition includes the 77-acre property and the Yverdon vineyard, winery and villa, while Terra Valentine brand or Wurtele Vineyard are not included in the acquisition.
Jackson Family Wines chairman and proprietor Barbara Banke said the company plans to make Yverdon the future home for its Lokoya wines and will use the vineyard for its limited production Lokoya Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon.
Under its current ownership and management, Terra Valentine will continue to produce its signature Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon and other wines, as well as move to a new site in St. Helena.
Meanwhile, The San Francisco Wine Exchange will continue to distribute these wines.
