UK-based 2 Sisters Food is set to expand its chicken processing plant in Cambuslang, Glasgow, Scotland, a move which will create 180 new jobs.
The 11,000ft² expansion includes addition of two high-volume ovens, spiral chillers and freezers.
2 Sisters Added Value poultry managing director Olivier Goudineau said: "We're delighted to have come to an agreement with the unions and extended our working hours at the factory.
"This has unlocked the expansion plan and in turn means we can take on 180 additional colleagues."
Goudineau added, "A lot of hard work has gone into realising this opportunity and it's a great example of working together to achieve our aims."
The Cambuslang site cooks and processes chicken products such as breaded and seasoned chicken.
The company gained control of the site as part of Vion's UK red meat and poultry processing facilities takeover in March 2013.
In November, 2 Sisters announced plans to reduce workforce by 200 at its Coupar Angus site, which slaughters and packs raw chicken, citing a fall in demand.
