Terri Lynn, a US-based nuts, dried fruits, chocolate-covered and yogurt-coated products supplier, has selected the Deacom Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to streamline its manufacturing processes.
The food maker has been seeking to continue its expansion, while maintaining the quality of its products. It identified that the existing ERP system was limiting its potential and would need to be replaced with a more agile solution, according to Deacom.
Terri Lynn noted that Deacom's flexible reporting with detailed drill downs, point of sale (POS) functionality that supports real-time transactions, and built-in warehouse management system (WMS) with fully integrated scanning, to specific challenges it has been facing.
Other benefits include Deacom's ability to build enhancements into the base code of the software without the need for traditional customizations and transparency regarding their current system functionality.
Terri Lynn IT director Roger Gross said, "We have every confidence that Deacom will be a true partner, providing an ERP solution that will not only meet our functionality requirements, but will also enable our growth and evolution as a company."
