Hershey's, a US-headquartered chocolate manufacturer, has unveiled a new line of Hershey's Spreads, including Chocolate, Chocolate with Almond and Chocolate with Hazelnut.
The new spreads are claimed to turn any food into a unique chocolate snacking experience and provide genuine Hershey's chocolate flavor to any food.
The company suggested pairing the spreads with selections such as graham crackers, strawberries or bananas, celery, pineapple or pickles.
Anna Lingeris Hershey's spokesperson said, "The average American snacks more than two times a day and what better way to transform everyday snacks into delicious treats, than with the genuine chocolate flavor that only Hershey can deliver.
"We have been delivering genuine chocolate experiences in a variety of forms for 120 years and our legacy as the leader in chocolate continues with Hershey's Spreads."
Available at food, mass, drug and convenience stores across the country, the Hershey's spreads come in 13oz jars, which are priced at $3.79.
Hershey's is supporting the new product line with an integrated marketing campaign that commenced in the fourth quarter of 2013 and will continue through 2014.
