Minnesota-Summit Brewingbased craft beer company Summit Brewing is all set to expand its distribution into the Arkansas beer market.

Summit will foray into Arkansas with the Arkansas Craft Alliance, made up of four core distributors: Arkansas Craft Distributors, White River Beverage Company, Three Rivers Distributing and Three Lakes Distributing.

The move is in line with the burgeoning growth of craft beer in the state.

Extra Pale Ale, the brewery's flagship beer, along with Sága IPA, Oatmeal Stout, and Horizon Red IPA, will be made available on draught for Arkansas beer lovers in February 2014.

Extra Pale Ale is a classic British style Pale Ale, with a bronze color and a pronounced hop flavor with notes of citrus aroma.

Sága IPA has rich gold color and pronounced New Zealand hop character, with aromas of kiwi, passion fruit and apricot.

Oatmeal Stout is smooth and slightly sweet, with hints of coffee, caramel and chocolate. It has a cascading rich black color and is only available on draught dispensed with a nitrogen gas mix.

Horizon Red IPA has a blend of American hops that gives it an intense pine, citrus and earthy character in the nose and on the tongue.
