France-based wine establishment Baron Philippe de Rothschild has named Stevens Garnier as its new off-trade distributor in the UK.
Stevens Garnier will distribute Mouton Cadet and wines from Bordeaux and the Languedoc to retailers, cash and carry, convenient stores and multiples, beginning 1 April.
The existing on-trade distribution structure for Baron Philippe that includes Waddesdon Wines will not be influenced by the new partnership.
Commenting on the partnership, Stevens Garnier head Matt Douglas said that Stevens Garnier is are thrilled to be associated with such an important global brand as Mouton Cadet and look forward to building quality distribution for the wines.
"Mouton Cadet is an excellent addition to our existing portfolio of world class, premium wine brands including Mateus, Sandeman, Finca Flichman, Mount Pleasant and many others," added Douglas.
Baron Philippe de Rothschild produces and exports wines. The company serves customers in the US, France, Britain, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Japan, and internationally.
