Printpack has announced that it is the chosen packaging partner of snack manufacturer Yumsh Snacks Ltd. Printpack will produce the packaging for the innovative new Ten Acre Snacks brand that uniquely offers widespread compassionate credentials including Gluten free, Dairy free, MSG free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Kosher and Halal.
Printpack was selected to produce the packaging because of their expertise while their reputation as an ethical business partner complimented the compassionate ethos of Yumsh Snacks Ltd. By working closely with their customer Printpack found the perfect solution for the new range. The premium-style packs are Gravure printed using Printpack’s fixed colour palette to reduce colours and complexities and efficiently deliver strong colours and high impact graphics. The packs needed to have a striking on shelf appeal and help generate interest in the unique flavours such as “How the chicken saved the day”, “When Bombay got Spicy” or “The Day Sweet and Sour Became Friends”.

The Ten Acre Crisps range was released in December with a soft launch while the main UK nationwide launch started in March 2014. The product will also be promoted at a number of trade exhibitions in 2014, including: Food and Drink Expo, NEC Birmingham, Alimentaria, Barcelona, World Travel and Catering, Hamburg and SIAL in Paris.
