The Staffordshire-based printer was incorporated on 11 April 1969 and originally traded from a town-house in the village of Penkridge.
Now based at its purpose-built factory in nearby Cannock, the group employees 37 people across two sites, trading with over 20 countries and over 9,000 businesses.
“Forty-five years of trading marks another significant milestone in our growth story,” said managing director Dr Adrian Steele.
“The business continues to enjoy year on year growth thanks to the fantastic team we have at Mercian Labels. Our reputation for manufacturing labels that are delivered with speed and backed by excellent service has seen us continuously acquire market share in the UK in recent years through the recession.”
