Rexam, a leading global beverage can manufacturer, has been selected by iced tea brand MangaJo to launch its new range of lightly carbonated green tea beverages, MangaJo Sparkling Pressé.
The 330ml cans, produced at Rexam’s Milton Keynes plant, sees MangaJo switch from glass to an aluminium format for the first time.
Selected for its recycling credentials and contemporary feel, the cans, developed by Rexam, help position MangaJo Sparkling Pressé as a premium drink in the category and help catch the eye of health-conscious consumers.
Speaking about the partnership with Rexam, Alex Hannon, co-founder of MangaJo said:
“Our new Sparkling Pressé is very different to current carbonated drinks in the market and it is important that our pack reflects this.
“We are delighted with the result and particularly impressed with the way that a global company like Rexam, is able to work so dynamically with smaller brands to deliver market leading products.”
The new range of Sparkling Pressé is available in Sicilian Lemon & Green Tea and Mediterranean Pomegranate & Green Tea listed in Waitrose and Whole Foods.
The launch of the range is being supported by a summer advertising campaign as well as in-store tastings.
