ncreasing demand for state-of-the-art can seamers for the food and beverage market, PneumaticScaleAngelus is expanding its global operations with a new engineering/manufacturing facility in Parma, Italy. The move will take place in early May, 2014.The new operation will include engineering, manufacturing, assembly, sales, and service of new and rebuilt can seamers. It will serve as an additional manufacturing center for seamer tooling (chucks & rolls).
This facility will be ideally located to serve European OEM customers as well as traditional Angelus end users. This location will complement the launch of PneumaticScaleAngelus’ exciting new line of Angelus V-Series Seamers, which will provide a full range of options to meet all of its customers seaming needs with the latest technology at reduced lead times. The new Parma operation will be directed by Mike Mihalik, a 19 year associate of PneumaticScaleAngelus who has led the Engineering and R&D efforts of the full PSA product line.
