Angelic Bakehouse, a US-based producer of sprouted whole grain products, has expanded its product availability to Sprouts Farmers Market, in a move to meet the increasing consumer demand for nutritional products.
Sprouts Farmers Market will sell Angelic Bakehouse's products at its stores across nine states, including California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Texas.
It currently sells nine SKUs of the Angelic Bakehouse line, including Flatzza crusts- a sprouted whole grain, ready-made pizza crust.
Angelic Bakehouse president and CEO Jenny Marino said that the company is aimed to change the way consumers think about breads.
"By adding our products on the shelves at Sprouts Farmers Market, we continue to show more people that being healthy can be an experience that they look forward to," added Marino.
According to the company, sprouted whole grain products have witnessed a rise with both mainstream and health-conscious consumers due to nutritional benefits, a low glycemic index, higher protein values and ease of digestion.
