Foods has added Spicy Sriracha Whole Grain Rainbow Trout Treasures to its like of seafood products geared toward kids.The product comes in three shapes — whales, sharks and trout — and is made with Idaho rainbow trout and coated in spicy whole grain breading.
“Our Treasures have been a kid favorite for many years, and now this new item represents a spicy twist on the original by adding Sriracha flavoring to the coating,” said Alan Kahn, Clear Springs VP of marketing. “In school testing, they were overwhelmingly popular with kids of all ages. In addition, we have made them healthier than ever by utilizing a whole grain coating.”
The product joins two others recently launched by Clear Springs and geared toward children. Earlier this month, the company added a frozen fish stick product and trout taco portions.
