American brewery Short’s Brewing Company has installed a new bottling and packaging line at its Elk Rapids Production Brewery.
The move is said to be in line with the company's strategy to meet its beer sales, which are annually growing by an average of 40%.
The line is expected to allow the company to increase production to be 300% more, while enabling it keep up with Michigan-driven demand.
Designed by Krones, the new bottle filling line has the capacity to fill 150 bottles per minute.
Around $1.55m was invested in the installation of the new equipment, which will improve the quality of the bottled products.
The company plans to introduce a new Session India Pale Ale to its year-round range, Prolonged Enjoyment.
Packaged in twelve packs, the proposed beer will be available for sale beginning this month.
