Terlato Wines, a US-based wines and spirits marketer, has collaborated with Heartland Distillers, to jointly produce and market a range of luxury American craft spirits.
The proposed product range will be an addition to the Terlato Artisan Spirits portfolio.
Under the partnership, the companies will launch Prohibition Gin in late 2014, with plans to launch Spring Mill whiskey and bourbon in 2015.
Terlato Wines CEO William Terlato said that small-batch American spirits are one of the fastest growing and most dynamic categories in the US drinks market, especially with Millennials.
"Our partnership and co-development of spirits with Heartland Distillers marks our entry into the luxury American craft spirits segment," added Terlato.
The Terlato Artisan Spirits portfolio includes Adelphi single-malt, single-cask Scotch, Don Pancho Origenes aged rum, Heartland Prohibition gin, Langley's No. 8 distilled London gin, Marnier XO Cognac, Nonino Amaro and Grappas, Riazul 100 percent Blue Agave Tequila, Springmill whiskey and bourbon, Tigre Blanc French Vodka and Tiramisu Liqueur.
