Bibigo has annoBibigounced the launch of the first ever Hot Pepper sauce tube or Gochujang sauce as it is known in Korea.

The Hot Pepper sauce is a staple Korean sauce found in most kitchens and it is now available for the UK consumer to buy.

The Hot Pepper sauce is available in an exclusive 60g plastic squeezy bottle with a shelf life of eight months and a trial price of £1.00.

“We believe the ethnic food market is growing rapidly due to consumers increased knowledge of ethnic cuisines and the growing eating-in trend.

“We have also noticed that the UK market enjoy spicy food and ingredients and we feel that it is the right time to launch such a unique product.

“The versatility of the sauce will allow the end user to add as little or as much as they want to a number of dishes and cuisines and therefore will be a big hit with a number of consumers from families, foodies to experimental cooks.”

The Hot Pepper sauce or Gochujang red pepper paste is a staple condiment used in most Korean homes and is traditionally used to bring a rich flavour to soups and stews.

The deep red Gochujang paste has Kimchi-like taste and complex chilli flavours.
