True Drinks announces new distribution of AquaBall naturally flavored water in China

True Drinks, a healthy beverage provider with major entertainment and media company licensing agreements for use of their characters on its proprietary, patented bottles, announced a partnership with FAL Healthy Beverages Pty Ltd to represent the brands in China.

Through this partnership, True Drinks, the makers of AquaBall Naturally Flavored Water, will begin selling their healthy kids drink in China. The sugar free, vitamin enhanced flavored water will be available in multiple trade channels and available throughout Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and other major cities throughout China.

True Drinks will work with partner FAL Healthy Beverages Pty Ltd. to distribute and market the brand to key retailer and distributors in the region. FAL Healthy Beverages is working with Chinz International, a local Chinese distributor to expand its growth in the market.

"After attending the SIAL China trade show in June, we had a tremendous response to the brand and the need for healthy children's drinks in Asia," said Kevin Sherman, CMO of True Drinks. "The same issues we see in North America with childhood obesity and juvenile diabetes are developing in emerging markets, as well. We have the perfect product to hydrate kids in a healthy way."

Lance Leonard, CEO of True Drinks, added, "It has been our goal since inception to be a global brand. Today we have AquaBall available in Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and now in Asia. The revenue from our export business will contribute to our financial goals and allow us growth in new markets in the coming years."

Tim Xenos, President of FAL, added, "We are proud to be working with True Drinks and to bring AquaBall to the Chinese market.
