True Drinks, a US-based healthy beverage provider, has partnered with PriceSmart, an international club channel retailer, to expand the distribution of its AquaBall Naturally Flavored Water across 12 countries.
Headquartered in San Diego, California, PriceSmart is an operator of membership warehouse clubs in Central America and the Caribbean, serving over one million cardholders.
With this deal, PriceSmart will feature AquaBall at all its stores in Aruba, Barbados, Columbia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Trinidad, and the US Virgin Islands countries.
True Drinks CEO Lance Leonard said: "International expansion into emerging marketplaces such as these is central to our corporate growth model."
AquaBall is a vitamin-enhanced water that was created as a zero calorie, sugar-free alternative to juice and soda for kids. It is currently being sold into mass-market retailers across the US.
True Drinks sales national director Jason Dorfman said: "True Drinks is in expansion mode, and we look forward to growing a loyal customer base across Central America and the Caribbean."
True Drinks manufactures its beverages with licensing agreements with major entertainment and media companies for use of their characters on its proprietary, patented bottles.
