Somerset-bBrothers Cider ased independent cider makers; Brothers Cider have started a nationwide tractor tour to deliver the ‘Taste of Somerset’ to the four corners of the UK including city centre locations and universities.

The full size Brothers-branded tractor with four ‘model’ brothers inside who represent the founding brothers of the cider brand; Jonathan, Francis, Matthew and Daniel, have taken to the road and are visiting high profile locations throughout the country.

To celebrate the arrival of the festival and barbeque season, cider fans will be able to sample the full range of Brothers cider, meet the four ‘brothers’ and team their drink with delicious barbeque food from another local family run business – also run by brothers; Somerset sausage producers, The Jolly Hog.

There’s also the chance to win a year’s supply of Brothers Cider by taking a ‘selfie’ with the ‘brothers’ by using #4RealBrothers.

Cheryl Sheppard from Brothers cider said:

“Brothers is very proud of our Somerset heritage and as the original creators of the fruit flavoured cider nearly 20 years ago, we want to spread the message about the ‘Taste of Somerset’ as far and as wide as possible.

“Our Brothers road trip will give people the chance to taste some of this season’s most popular Brothers flavours including Strawberry, Wild Fruit, and our famous Glastonbury tipple, our 7% Festival Pear, along with flavours unique to the cider market; Cloudy Lemon and Toffee Apple.

“Cider is such a sociable drink, whether it’s enjoyed by groups of friends at their favourite bar, or outdoors at a festival or barbeque, summer really is the perfect season to enjoy a nice cold cider over ice.”

The Brothers ‘Taste of Somerset’ tour will stop next at London’s Notting Hill carnival on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th August in Emslie Horniman Pleasance, off Kensal Road, London.

The tour has already visited Bath, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham serving over 13,000 samples of cider and will continue throughout the summer and into the start of the new university term to reinforce Brothers as the nation’s number one fruit cider brand for students.
