In the village of Yarky in Khanty-Mansiysk, Yugra, JSC Agrofirma are to build another large greenhouse complex with an area of more than 5 hectares. This will be the second phase of the implementation of a large investment project.
Agrofirma consider the region’s food security to be of paramount importance. The innovative complex already constructed by JSC Agrofirma, currently occupies an area of over three hectares. Its territory consists of several units for growing seedlings, lettuce and greens, as well as cucumbers and tomatoes.
The complex was only put into operation in Yugra on December 22, 2014 and is equipped with the latest technology. According to the government website KhMAO, the results of the first stage of the implementation of the investment project are as follows: more than 11 tons of greens, 263 tons of cucumbers and 18 tons of tomatoes.
The construction of an additional block of greenhouses over an area of five hectares is necessary to supply Yugra with vegetables and green produce. The volume of investments for the project is €23 million.
