Core Tip: "There currently have been no confirmed reports of illness or adverse reactions due to consumption of Ajinomoto Windsor's products."
US-based Ajinomoto Windsor has recalled approximately 47 million pounds of meat and poultry products, which may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

According to the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), the affected heat-treated, partially cooked, non-shelf stable items were produced between 1 May 2014 and 1 May this year.

Recalled products feature establishment numbers EST. 21225; EST. 9281, EST. 1623A or EST. 18356 inside the USDA mark of inspection.

These items were shipped across the US and to Canada and Mexico.

This issue was uncovered when Ajinomoto Windsor was notified by CRF Frozen Foods that its frozen vegetables used in Ajinomoto's products were involved in a recall.

Washington-based CRF Frozen Foods recently issued a voluntary recall due to an outbreak of Listeriosis, a serious infection that primarily affects older adults, pregnant women and their newborns, as well as people with weak immune systems.

There currently have been no confirmed reports of illness or adverse reactions due to consumption of Ajinomoto Windsor's products.

Products made for Costco, Trader Joes, Yakitori, Golden Tiger, Archer Farms, InnovASIAN, Casa Solana, Simmering Samurai, Molly's Kitchen and other brands have been recalled.

A number of the products involved include Tai Pei Chicken Fried Rice, Tai Pei Pepper Beef, Fred's Jalapeño, Corn & Bacon Cornbread Pop, InnovASIAN Cuisine Chicken Fried Rice, and Daily Chef Chicken Poblano Firecrackers.

Ajinomoto Windsor has establishments in Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Carthage and Portland.
